  1. does anyone else think laurel is far and away the worst part of the show? I don't enjoy any scene that she's in. She is terrible. +100 The worst part of the show  I think we got it
  2. Sorry for your loss! Don't beat yourself up thinking what-if, and did I do everything possible. The facts are they don't last forever and eventually we all have to let them go. Our Cassie is 14 years old and has bad days but mostly good lately. I dread the day she leaves us. I totally understand how you must feel.
  3. Where's the tumbleweed emoticon when you need one ...
  4. What time is it boys and girls? Time for Arrow!
  5. , I saw your post only after I submitted mine. If I saw it I wouldnt have posted as you got it covered imo You definately added to it (thumbs u
  6. Pleasure! I think Bill C agrees with this perspective.
  7. Clean = Green Yeah, I forgot, was thinking some cleaning was allowed - but checked it was conserved tier. "Some cover or interior cleaning (water or solvent)". So I guess not blue Sorry yes I meant Conserved - which is, blue & purple, I guess? Green is Qualified Here's a cleaned book with a conserved label. Common drek. http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=592806
  8. Interesting how they use part of the name when they refer to themselves or others refer to them. "Cold" for "Captain Cold", I heard someone say "Piper", for "Pied Piper". I think it's good because it'd be a little silly in this day and age to be calling them Capt this and Pied that.
  9. I thought the same thing - he could have easily went around them and came from behind - but then there would have been no battle to film. I think we're going to have to get used to this.
  10. I saw your comment right after the show when I was thinking - they went full-Monty comic book with this episode. I actually didn't love it myself - the mushy stuff was a bit thick - but in hindsight and seeing some of the other comments and comparisons of scenes to comic panels - it was pretty ballsy what they went and did. Unlike Smallville this show is totally embracing its source material and taking no prisoners as far as pouring on the Pow Wham Bam factor. It'll be interesting to see if it works and we end up with a new phenomena like the Batman of the 60's which was shear comic buffoonery but it appealed to everyone, and was a smash success. We could all use a little less serious at the end of the day - and this show delivers entertainment with levity. It'll be interesting to see what they do on Arrow tonight. That show is way more serious. No joke
  11. Be patient with me, as I'm a little behind the curve here, but I though I read somewhere over the last few weeks that the beans were spilled (in an interview with the actor) that Well is the reverse Flash? Maybe I read it wrong.
  12. Oh man, I had this off my watched topics list over the holidays - It's again time to get back to frenzied fan-crazed TV viewing TONIGHT!!!!!
  13. Likely. I don't know what eBay can really do if people contact each other and work out a deal. Maybe they're happy with the paypal fees if they get them. Who knows. The color-touched, trimmed copy being offered by collectors_comics sold for a surprising $4,579.51 IMHO, that's a lot of dough for a book that's trimmed, and god knows what else.
  14. I wouldn't have really hung in there and bid it up I already have a higher-grade copy and I don't really need another. I just wanted to keep track of it, and in case no one bid Don't get me wrong, if it was cheap enough, I probably would try to get it, but there's virtually no chance of that happening anytime soon.
  15. Showcase 59 219585008 Showcase 59 11-12/65 8.5 CREAM TO OFF-WHITE 218 Showcase 59 219585008 Showcase 59 11-12/65 8.5 CREAM TO OFF-WHITE 120 How is it the same book can get different scores
  16. I got a mystery for ya - how is it two registry sets with the identical comics in them have different scores?
  17. I'm truly honored The gauntlet has been thrown, the challenge accepted Seriously dude, you have a couple of great sets going there. I want to see the day when they are completed. Thanks for the compliment, Sammy Bob
  18. IT IS FINALLY DONE - CGC HAS SPOKEN - THE SPILT IN THE SHOWCASE REGISTRY SETS IS . . . 1-64 65-104 Now we dance . . . Sam, you can now have 3 Registry sets, make that 4 with the 22-24 set …and the 1-104 set is still I'm thrilled I can complete a set like 1-64, and aspire to build a 65-104 someday. Anyway, I'm kinda buzzed that I got something to happen here.
  19. Step right up, and take your place amount the greats
