  1. Thanks! They have definitely attracted some interesting candidates. I agree - good timing for this thread Thanks Bosco685!
  2. "We know there’s a Wonder Woman movie coming in 2017. We know it will star Gal Gadot in the lead, and she also appears in Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice. But as of this date, we presumed it would be set in the modern day. Well, why wouldn’t we? It’s not. I have been informed by those who have seen the greenlit treatment that the film will spend the first half on Paradise Island with warring Amazon factions vying for control. An arrival of a man on the island changes that status quo, as he asks the Amazons for help. Not necessarily Steve Trevor either… Because when Wonder Woman joins him on his return to the world of Man, we all discover that it is the 1920s. And the film will then show Diana exploring that world – a world where women have only just got the vote – from her… unique perspective. A planned sequel would then take place during World War II in the thirties and forties. This of course was the period that the seventies TV show began in, before shifting to the then-modern day. And a threequel would then take place in the modern day, with the Justice League Of America. So. Not the Wonder Woman we were expecting. But the period-set Captain America; The First Avenger didn’t do too badly, did it?"
  3. CBR just posted this: Katie Cassidy Suits Up as Black Canary on "Arrow" I guess we all knew that was coming.
  4. I sure hope so - I was hoping we'd see a LOT more of her - youser
  5. Here's another good one on Ebay (coincidentally with only 6 hours left). If I hadn't just gotten one of these, I'd go for this. I looked far and wide for one all last year. Several low grade copies was all I could find at NYCC, and all were overpriced IMHO. http://www.ebay.com/itm/251706538743?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  6. I was an under bidder on this book - forgot to bid again. I'm glad you got it though - I thought it was a great book for a good price - and vice versa. Good catch!
  7. I'm a big fan of the show, but yesterday's -script writing was less than solid. I mean Plastique is allowed to know Barry has powers but not Iris? (But of course she's dead now anyway, so she'll never tell anyone) There's a lot more loose-ends imho but I'm going to save it until I can watch it again. But I'm really starting to worry about whomever is calling the shots on the stories. They also seem to waste a lot of time on silly things like the shots of whatever Barry was drinking. Who needs it? Fingers-crossed the -script writing on this starts to get a little tighter.
  8. I'll be testing compounds on my own unique metabolism during tonights episode.
  9. A few nice Showcases for sale in this thread http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Board=78&Number=8156508&Searchpage=1&Main=359162&Words=showcase&topic=0&Search=true#Post8156508
  10. I agree, but didn't he run up the building to snap a photo of Felicity in the last episode? Whatever - TONIGHT, tonight, FLASH I need a Flash-fix real, real bad.
  11. I'd love to see the Challs on the big-screen
  12. Spectacular. You guys are killing it this morning! You got to love the old timer signatures that can actually be read and CGC can put on the label. These are as precious as a double-cover designation, IMHO.
  13. Just phenomenal Perfect way to reawaken this sleeping thread.
  14. I totally agree with you it is truly an iconic Murphy Anderson cover. (thumbs u Like I said, i struggled with where to make the break and I guess I chose the less logical place to do it. I don't have any issue (no pun) including #62 & 63 in the first set . . . the 2 Inferior Five issues, and breaking the set up at the #64. I just hope I haven't started something that I can't stop now. I'll write Gemma and ask her if we can make the change - and if it's ok with everyone, to move the break to #64/65. Let's see what she says.
  15. Actually, I didn't. Good catch both of you (thumbs u
  16. I think you're right. Malcolm told Olliver that too didn't he. But they could all be throwing us off the real trail as well.
  17. I think it's the blacked-out eyes underneath his mask. I was looking at that the other night, thinking "that looks goofy".
  18. Yesterday's episode seemed like it was a filler to me. I loved the eye candy throughout, but it didn't advance much of the last few plot lines that were started. However, that ending was a real surprise.
  19. I think you got your answer - no reason other than to display the logo. But Carmine Infantino the 1st official artist of the Silver Age Flash always used to have Flash do these quick direction changes on the pages, I think for no better reason than they looked cool in the pages of the comic. So it's definitely on-tone in my opinion.
  20. Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue... It might be time to graduate to Gingold
  21. I only just remembered we have to wait a week for new episode I might re-watch last weeks to help me make it through the withdrawals pains.
