  1. I have to say I like what they're doing with this show - much, much improved. There are some nice tie-ins throughout the story, and it kept me on the edge of my seat a few times. And Adrianne Palicki's Mockingbird was a lot of fun. She really drew your attention. Wow, I'm wondering if maybe she might have been a great (TV) Wonder Woman if the story had been written better. But that chapter is closed.
  2. Decent episode last night. They seem to be setting things up for something big.
  3. I agree with you. I'm waiting to see him really use his super-speed powers to do some tricky things, not just run away or around things. The last Avenger's movie had a scene with Quicksilver that so far was better than anything I've seen so far in the Flash. I'm a big fan, but I'm really getting antsy. I want to see him start to really use all of the powers efficiently. But like I myself have said, we need to give it time.
  4. Ok, forgetting that I wanted to raise this issue and not have it buried in a thread, but doesn't it have to be in the system to be a TAT problem? And as I have said, I'm a CGC supporter (CCS as well) and have no plans to go elsewhere - but sometimes they task me.
  5. Ok, my bad - maybe I have too much time on my hands today. Sorry if I jumped to conclusions
  6. Seriously, is it really worth arguing about? Some agree with my tact, some do not - let's agree we all have a right to voice our dissatisfaction with something especially when it concerns the company that hosts this very chat board.
  7. If I'm not mistaken, Clink software prevents low ball bids under a certain percentage so it may not get ANY bids. I think it's 50%, the minimum bid that is.
  8. I didn't, though. Your books have been pushed to Verified already - the modern/economy subs are not at that stage yet (and if it's a regular modern sub, probably won't be for another 3 weeks). No, he is saying that the time to "log them in" was the same, f not slower. In which case he has a point. At the point just before they were entered it was apparently completely random - which books were on the top of the first box they opened He just wasn't as "lucky" as me, and my books was picked to enter before his..
  9. Ok, but the operative phrase was "after all these preliminary steps" I meant prior to being entered (after which all things are supposed to follow the plan for that tier) I meant before they were actually entered, nothing was prioritized by the CRS's at NYCC.
  10. Va-va-voom Seeing it tonight. Did DC throw the baby out with the bathwater with Adrian?
  11. All addressed earlier in the thread, but go ahead knock yourselves out. Let me add, that when you call a company and the people on the other end who have your high-value books sound beaten and angry to be in the situation they were in, it gives me pause. Also, as i've stated, I've done this almost every year since I can remember, drop books off at NYCC, and never have I had such a long wait - and that includes standard subs. And I wasn't only trying to save shipping, like I also said a few times, I had an appointment to show Matt the book I was subbing in case it needed work before going to CGC. The issue I had and have, is I paid a ton of money to expedite the book after all these preliminary steps and yet my Express submission got the same treatment as a modern economy submission at NYCC. I think that's a problem.
  12. At least they're asking politely
  13. You don't get the expression "if it bothers you don't read it". You make no sense either, as I have responded to every single "point" you use to criticize me for starting this thread. Why don't you just chill dude, you're gonna bust a vein
  14. I don't think so, but I don't know - here is the link to the previous thread about this book: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Board=21&Number=8073474&Searchpage=1&Main=356415&Words=showcase+%234&topic=0&Search=true#Post8073474
  15. Thanks for finding the right words for me. So much seems to be about not violating confidences then giving honest advice and feedback. Oh, and getting a leg up on the other guy. It's troubling some times.
  16. In fact it's the depth of GA material DC has in their history that is an asset that other publishers don't have in such great abundance. It's nice to see them use it.
  17. You're right - I forgot my son told me. I was out of comics for years missed a lot of the resurrections of GA characters. Not a bad thing, I was just wondering why the second installment but maybe they're saving the rogues for later. Speaking of GA characters, I wonder when we'll see Wildcat training the new Black Canary. My DVR clipped the coming attractions so maybe soon.
  18. I wanted a little more action then we got, but I liked it just the same. I just wish he would not just stand there and let things get to him when he could easily dash out of the way - like when the Mist gassed him. I guess that's what a little more experience with how he can use his powers will bring. And what's up with these obscure villains from the GA? I'm going to watch it again though, I had too many distractions last night.
  19. that would help TATs for the rest of us Since you guys always seem to post together, I will answer you together - maybe you should take your own advice Maybe I will, and then I can start a thread in comics general that CGC doesn't give my "special books" enough attention. And possibly call them and explain that I am the most important submitter in the world and demand the respect I am due.
