  1. I was including restored in my quote, but yes - unrestored well north of 100K
  2. Entry level, complete Tec 27's (even coverless) would start at $100K (at least) ........
  3. how about one with no chance of resto removal? ever gonna happen ?
  4. ...........seriously though, when and under what conditions could we, or would we ever, see a $1 million sale for a restored mega-key ? I remember when $317K (was that the number?) was the top price for a blue Action #1, and now there are multiple examples of $1M + sales of unrestored mega GA books. Could it ever happen ?
  5. I think best case scenario for an extensive professional mega-key would be more like 30-ish % of equivalent unrestored ..... but it certainly is a bit of an art trying to put values on restored GA
  6. I'm not going to say who, but I can confirm as a generality this sort of thing has been offered to me in the past, plus other incentives.
  7. March 20/2021 ------ 18 books in total, some Economy, some Modern, and some Value ...... just got to CCS processing ......... still waiting .......
  8. Golden Age mega-keys can go for much closer (25-30%) to unrestored blue prices .... AF15's blues grow on trees, so thus low hammers on restored
  9. what did it sell for please ? ..... link is now not active Thanks
  10. I think the grade took into account the detached cover, so your 1.5 should be worth what a 1.5 should be worth
  11. The three I posted above cost me a grand total of $17K Canadian (purchased from 2008-2010 and Canadian dollar was pretty close to being on par with USD) ..... so yeah, so glad I pulled the trigger when I did. I did think at the time that the prices were nuts, guess I did alright as it stands today.
  12. Updated photo of all 3 together and graded … proud papa ….
  13. excellent point .... but I actually feel the "gravy" gets thrown on auctioned key books on here regardless of whether consignor is known or not; it is a favourite pastime of many on these Boards over the years I've noticed
  14. he doesn't share which books he has ...... I've called him out on this, and he gave a reasonable answer regarding privacy/risk of robbery/etc., so I don't think we'll get the answer here
  15. GA grail books ........ 10% to 25% lower than same-graded, O/W copy GA books ....... 50% of same-graded, O/W copy
  16. trust me, give me AF15's and Hulk 181's all day - couldn't care less about a rug! Plus, I don't need the Dude's problems !
