  1. +1 Awesome pic! Agreed. Most of the keys are present.
  2. A grail is a grail no matter what grade you get. The grade just puts a price tag on it and makes it a little more rare. Congrats.
  3. That is a nice price. Congrats to the seller and buyer.
  4. How things have changed in four years. (thumbs u
  5. Think about it in these terms. How many copies of early ASM, AF, and FF 1962-1964 vs. the next generation that came out in 1968. SC 4- Flash 105 was 1956 and 1959. Both of those six year gaps meant a lot as far as collectors go.
  6. So if you were going to collect a title on life support, what would it be. Batman and Tecs are so hot right now you can get third degree burns when attempting to bid.
  7. ...that could be very dangerous;) Say that around the wife and your house will end up being remodeled or redecorated.
  8. If you liked Hunger Games and Alas Babylon I highly recommend The Passage by Justin Cronin.
  9. I just started reading again for the first time since who knows when. Probably have not read a book since college actually, until about 2 years ago. My wife has always enjoyed reading and for whatever reason, I just decided I would give it a try. I recently started the Jack the Ripper books by Cornwell, but quite honestly, I have better stuff to do than read it. Boring. I will probably try to finish it, but Cornwell has slipped way down my list. Tried to start reading the Harry Potter series, but didn't make it through the first book. Currently reading the Hunt for Red October, and probably going to follow with some more Clancy stuff. Pretty good so far, but kind of a tough read. Just finished reading all the Alex Cross books in order by Patterson, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who like Crime noir stuff from any genre. Easy read, fast moving and highly entertaining. I also have been reading alot of Grisham lately. Have read the Firm (movie was better), Pelican Brief (pretty good), Runaway Jury (very good), and a Time to Kill (best Grisham of the 4 I have read so far). Grisham tends to bog down in details sometimes, but not so much you want to quit reading, just have to fight the urge to skim sometimes. Nothing I have read so far compares in the slightest to Patterson though. If you like Clancy at all try a Clive Cussler book. If you like Grisham at all try a Michael Connely book. I think both are more engaging. Last I would recommend reading the Tourist. The movie was a total adaptation of the book and did not even follow it. It is a great Spy novel. If you like crime, read the Stieg Larson and Jo Nesbo books. Those are really good.
  10. I have 4 books going: Feast of Crows ( Game of thrones book 4) Customers Rule Built to Last - Jim Collins Pronto - Leonard Elmore (Raylan Givens) Sidenote- If you are not watching Justified you are missing out.
  11. Marvel successfully redid Hulk with a who new crew and cast. In my mind there is no reason they can't do this again. The problem with DC is that have not got a good franchise going except for Batman. They have to keep trying. They have good material. They just need better execution.
  12. The 6.0 that sold last night did not have nearly the eye appeal as the last two. But I did notice that SC 4 out paced the SC 22s last night. I think the talk of SC 22 passing SC 4 has come to end for the near future anyway. I'm just disappointed that the harder to get DC books have not anywhere kept pace with the more plentiful Marvel keys.
  13. In another 10 years that line is going to be beyond impressive. Your strategy is definitely a winner.
  14. Does the writing bother you guys at all or is the just something you have to live with when supply is so limited. They have added a 111 this morning.
  15. There is a nice mini run of Flash books for sale on the Link
  16. The book has very low supply. You never see more than a few offered each year about 6.0. Somehow that has not driven prices which is still good for me. Thanks to Rick for selling my undercopy.
  17. How long does it take them to stop crying in there? My guess would be till they run out of oxygen Fortunately they are pretty good kids. Although family meetings are more like a congressional committee meeting than a fireside chat. Six more months and I will be done with diapers. I've been changing diapers since 1998 and I think I've seen everything that can happen or be done with a poppy diaper.
  18. I have six kids and we just throw them in the garbage can.
  19. I know. I was beginning to think Bob Kane must have created the Human Torch and there was a crossover I was not aware of.
  20. At this rate there should be a big enough population in 2212 that I will be able to pick one up at a discount.
