  1. It looked like a nice copy with good page quality.
  2. Well the 7.0 on CC went for 1250 last night. I was in for awhile but could not push the button at 1250.00
  3. Did anyone catch that was nearly 95 million comics per year.
  4. Bummer. Both of those are interesting books to see on the market. Does the census reflect this resub?
  5. Has anyone noticed it has been awhile since a Star Wars #1 .35 has been up for auction with any of the big boys. I assume most of the recent ones showing up have been ebay sales. It seemed like there was time when there was one in every auction. I think the same goes for Iron Fist 14.
  6. What do you guys think of the Oregon books. There are several in the CC Auction and they look pretty nice.
  7. What do you think the over under is on how many times it was read.
  8. Myself, I could not think of a worse job. It would be tedious boring work and I would terrified handling high dollar books in a work environment. I respect what they have done and to think that grading is going to be perfect and 100% consistent over time when we all say it is part art is unreasonable. That said, IMHO that book is not a 9.2.
  9. That is because they probably spend about half the time it takes to grade a book when they are so busy.
  10. The Rocky Mountain 100 pagers are all pretty awesome.
  11. I was thinking the same thing.
  12. True enough. In my mind there is a 9.4/9.6 in a box or vault out there. It will surface eventually and then all the discussion about this being the best existing copy will be irrelevant. Did any one see this last month. There is nothing amazing about finding the cards but what was amazing is that they found a 1910 card in a gem mint 10. This stuff exists and until every living person that could have bought a book from a newstand in 1959 is dead I won't start believing that every high grade SC22 has come to light. http://www.cleveland.com/metro/index.ssf/2012/07/ohio_mans_heirs_find_hundreds.html
  13. I have seen both 9.0s and I would bet my youngest son they are both better than the 9.2. That said, this is still a really nice book. Bid on the book and not the label.
  14. Flash105 suits me fine. I do everything with smoke and mirrors anyway in life.
  15. You say it is your last one but you haven't deleted it from your Comiclink Wantlist.
  16. That may have been the first cover ever trumpeting a milestone issue! (thumbs u That's a nice copy. I had a copy back in the 80s that was beater and I loved it. It was my oldest book for a long time.
  17. It had a pretty good home but I hope it stays put for awhile. Thanks for helping me out Bob.
  18. Those are really cool. What is Johns like?
  19. I love that Tales to Astonish 98. Classic cover.
