I think most of the Showcase 4 on ebay have been good buys. The 7.5 and 8.0 both sold for good prices. Ebay is such a pain to search. You would think they would make dedicated search field for comics i.e. title, publishier, issue number, year, cgc, grade, and comments (artist, first appearance, etc). If you have 1-1.5 million listings that to me seems like something worth fighting for. They have not, hence a lot of their business is bleeding off to other sites. Heritage is not much better. I have a wantlist alert for showcase 4 and I get an email every two weeks telling me my item is available. Unfortunately, it is a Showcase 40 and their stupid search engine doesn't know the difference.

Ebay is so nice- "Hi Jack, We're sorry you didn't win this time around. While this one got away, there's other stuff to find. Don't give up." Damn them- when are they going to list the next one?

I thought it was fully valued. The 7.5 just sold for 12.5 in November. The last 8.5 sold for 28K. I think I have been the underbidder on the last three 7.5-8.5 that have sold. I want one but I want to be careful. I don't want to set a GPA record and then not be able to sell the book if I had to.

It sold. I am frustrated once again.

Well the 8.0 sold for 23,101.00. Rats.

It was small and written in the white. It was early last year i think.

The 8.0ep is mine and it will probable be sold sometime this year. It is extensive but it was affordable and it really looks nicer than an 8.0.

I think the 4.5 had writing on the cover if I remember correctly.

119 is one of my favorites. That looks to be a really nice copy. It was also one I did not get but eventually would like to have.

Will always be in the top three in my mind. It will probably be passed by Batman 1 somewhere down the road and drop to number 5, but that is in my mind.
