  1. Gator/Rick - do you know if there was ever any thought for the Sub-Mariner to have a young sidekick especially once he started fighting along with Cap and HT? They were in vogue and the young oceanite would have been a fit with the Young Allies. Too much of a loner?
  2. Or save a bit direct from the source - http://www.mycomicshop.com/search?q=captain america comics&cgc=y
  3. I would go after a lower grade copy of Real Life Comics #3. I think based on GPA (although there are not many recent sales) a 3.0 - 4.0 might be be possible. But that's me and because I really want one
  4. And there's something wrong with that The last baseball team I followed was the '74 Reds. I still have many of my cards from then and think I have managed to out together the Reds team set. Loved that bubblegum, really I did.
  5. Blue shirted hero with a white star costume saving the day to another similarly clad and situation
  6. Yes it is by invitation only. I received one but there have others that I did not.
  7. Edmond Hamilton story to Edmond Hamilton story
  8. Just let me know and I'll drive up and buy your meal. And nothing to do with this but my OCD noticed my post should have said "You're widespread..." not "Your..." Stupid auto-accept on phone. As the son of a grammar teacher, I can't help but be OCD on grammar.
  9. Your widespread and well-known, Gino. This is a restaurant in Muskogee, Oklahoma that I have eaten at many times. Muskogee is closer to Tulsa and a couple of hours from where I live in OKC. How much do you pay that guy in the chef suit to stand outside throughout the year and amazingly he never flinches and is always there. It is good food by the way.
  10. That is one I must admit I have never seen before. What a great cover. So is the ape a man in a gorilla suit on filming locale or a real beast?
  11. That's a heck of a first post after being registered for 4 years. Not sure if CGC will let this thread survive but will you having comic only auctions? You often have a few scant offerings in your regular auctions of mainly sports material so just curious.
  12. To a more attractive occupant of a domed spaceship
  13. Don't we all just use the standard Greggy reply of STFU, regardless.
  14. I think, too, if you are signed up for email notification of PMs, you get it and even if it is edited by the sender afterwards, you have the original. At least that's the way I remember it under the old boards.
  15. Femme inside spaceship to femme leaping out of spaceship
  16. Instead of speculating, why not just contact CGC? No doubt there are folks here who may know but go right to the source and ask. If they say no, then you save the cost and potential loss or damage during shipping. If they say yes, there you go. Good luck and cool items.
  17. So, Peter, do you still have the PM you sent to me to let me know you were sending me some of your comic rarities to celebrate the upcoming Canadian National Tartan Day Observance on April 6th?
  18. That is awesome. Now if I only had a few extra grand laying around
  19. Man in the Iron Mask cover to Man 'o Metal cover
  20. Rudolph makes an appearance in Santa's Wonderland
