Hi Gemma, would you please consider adding the following books to the House Of M (Complete) Set:

Captain America (2005) #10

Cable & Deadpool (2004) #17

Black Panther (Marvel Knights, 2005) #7

New Thunderbolts (2005) #11

These issues are all one off x-overs and are key to the set, thanks Phil

No love for The Maxx 1-35 and the hundred variant covers for #1? There are at least two of us that collect this title! :sorry: (Okay...I have a second set).

Thank you, Gemma. :foryou:

Would it be possible to add a slot for the French Variant to Captain America #25 in the Cap 2005 set?

"La Mort De Captain America"

On the slab it states the issue is "Marvel Icons #30", but the cover actually says "La More De Captain America"

Could I also get a correction made to the Buffy Season 8 set. There should be two different variant covers for issue 5, the standard Jeanty variant and also a Paul Lee variant cover.

Unfortunately we don't differentiate between the two variants...whenever there are two (or more) variants that are printed in equal numbers (50/50 in this case) then we note all copies as "Variant" and then note in the grading text on the label "Two variant covers exist." So I can't create an additional slot.

This is also the case for the Captain America variant that is "missing" BTW...

In the case of the Buffy variant the Jeanty cover is a 1:4 variant and the Paul Lee cover is a 1:12 variant. I was also wondering why they weren't differentiated being that they weren't 50/50 covers in this case.

The same thing just happened with my Secret Invasion slabs. 1 variant is 1:20, while the other is 1:50, however they are both registered as "Variant, two variant covers exist". They should be registered seperately. Any way to get this corrected?

I checked on two of your sets. "Gotham Underground" and "Trials of Shazam." I quit after those two. Neither qualify for inclusion because in the former's case only the number 1 issue has been graded and in the latter's there are only 3 of the twelve issues graded. Not only do they not qualify for inclusion as Registry sets, but noone even has graded copies of these books. Hence my reaction. It is a big waste of everyone's time, especially the moderators, who are trying to keep up with the huge growth in Registry participation.

By the way, :foryou: I am glad you like these series. I salute your enthusiasm for comics as well. But it is hard enough to get legitimate sets put together without having requests for multiple sets that don't qualify.

Hi. I don't know what the requirements are for adding a title to the database, but I'm hoping you can help. Can you please add Power Man (1974-1981)? I plan to purchase a CGC 9.6 copy of issue 57 (early X-men appearance) in the next couple days, but I don't see it in the database. Thanks.

:o Hmm... I didnt realize that your the "Monitor" (seanfingh) of this universe to "the Source" (Collector Society)! (Yes, that was a DC pun!)

(tsk) Lets me make one point though... I dont care what you think the requirements should be for judging the requirements of whether a request for a registry set options for one of my many following books haves merits to even have an set option.

:censored: Im so sorry that in this "american society" that I have bills in order to maintain whatever lifestyle I supposely still do have. That Im not able to constantly register my "modern" comics I happen to get bi-weekly or "ever-so-often if I have some extra money after putting gas into my car and paying a whole host of assorted bills" to meet ur threshhold.

 I thought that I could at least get a set option built so I can show off that at least I have the comics and keeping them in "super condition" until either im able to pay the "price hike" and "insurance" to send a submission through FedEx. I was also hoping until a convention is so close to do "bring in submissions" that wont impact my two jobs I do need in order to support my somewhat lifestyle or I just might have to wait until society can realize whats the cost of living now in this country and find a way to lower the "cost of living" or at least gas prices.

I really can't decipher most of this. But what I can tell you is that, before a set can be added to the Registry, a majority percentage of the issues must have been graded by CGC (it is either 2/3 of the issues or 3/4, I can't recall. It's tough being the Monitor). It's not my rule. It's CGC's rule.

From what I could extrapolate, you are taking this whole thing quite personally. I would suggest mellowing out, but you could add it to the laundry list of things to rail against in this "american society."

There has got to be a few different ways to differentiate pedigrees from regular books. My first idea would be to give a different score to a pedigreed book than its regular counterpart. Say regular book A 9.2 scores 1000 points, than 9.2 of the same book but pedigreed should be worth 1250 or something to that effect, maybe a 25% point bump.

Secondly if that can't be done or maybe to even expand on the pedigree idea by rewarding collectors whom chase one of a kind pedigree books, make registry sets that only consist of pedigree books. The submission form would only have to consist of the serial # and once entered the book would become part of ones registry set and display what book and grade that would be.
