Painted by Corey Wolfe.

I assume that bronze_rules has a social life :o and is offline to attend a New Year's party somewhere. So as not to hold up the whole thread, I will go ahead and post the next question. (Since I found and posted the cover from his question, with the alien diver/tentacles/etc, I'm sure it's right --- I will gladly retract my point if I turn out to be wrong somehow).

My score thus far: 6 points

Next question (not too tough at all): Name Logan's former mentor, whom he fought and killed in the 1982 mini.

All three publishers (Story Comics, Key Publications, Master Comics) are really the same; different in name only.

That would be publishing history and not just amoung the early issues. Nice try though! PS - the first run Mister Mystery was published by Gilmore.

None were consistantly monthly, although all came out in 1951.

Too bad I don't have the print run guide available to check that as well.

And each have a trimonthly gap. Sounds like a fibonacci sequence problem.

Try again! PRINTING history. Not PUBLISHING history.

The same presses? Not sure what you are getting here. We aren't printing geniuses like you are on the subject. Throw us a bone.

You'll all be chewing on this for awhile. But it's out there.

What are the 1st three appearances of this story in order?

GREAT QUESTIONS!

This is a tongue-in-cheek answer.

According to GCD, this story title appeared in:

Dennis the Menace #61 1959 August, 1962

Green Arrow #48 2001 May 2005

Sugar & Spike #8 1956

Richie Rich? NObody indexes Richie Rich. I did the first Richie index only about 3(?) years ago.

Happy New Year!

Jack
