I don't think I've ever seen guinea pigs on a cover before (I assume they're the villain in the tale)...and the colors on the March 39 issue are amazing!

Great pulps!

Thanks,

I have dozens of other high-grade copies I'm just posting A few of the Strasser's.

I have a complete Shadow run in high-grade except for the number one which is about a G/VG to VG minus with off-white to white paper.

Believe it or not the other book I need to upgrade in the run was the one that I have original painting for (The Creeping Death) from January 15, 1933.

I have five midgrade copies yet, but I yet to find that definitive high-grade copy which I would pay through the nose for.

Love that Spicy Mystery. One of the best in the run. That hand with the hypo just makes it. Also that Dime Detective is killer. Never seen that one before.

Also some more Brundage goodness.

Love these covers! I went to Wikipedia to learn more about Brundage (I didn't realize the artist was a woman) and laughed when I saw the note by Clark Ashton Smith to HP Lovecraft where he complained about her Weird Tales' covers: Mrs. Brundage [...] has about as much genuine feeling for the weird as a Jersey cow is likely to possess.

I heartily disagree!
