This one isn't quite a grail; at least not in the way the June 1936 issue was.  Do we have a term for "as high on the want list as it's possible to get without actually being a grail book?"

In any case, it's one I'm extraordinarily happy to finally get.  Now I just need to track down the March and April issues; but I think this is the hardest of the four Lovecraft Astoundings to get:

Nice pick up!  That's a favorite of mine too.  Going to get the June issue too, with "The Shadow Out of Time" cover?

Beatuiful covers!  The last one certainly peaks the imagination.  Makes you want to just sit and wait for her knitting to progress. :luhv:

Not "Going to get", have.  That one definitely is/was a grail issue for me.  I've posted it before, but any excuse will do:

That's a book worthy of a second posting! Love the strong color.

Congrats!  Like you, I feel fortunate just having a copy of this gem...

Another new pick-up, Dr. Yen Sin #1, completing the 3 issue series for me.  This one's in incredible condition too.

Dr. Yen Sin #1, May-Jun 1936

Nice book!  Wu Fangs and Yen Sins are not common in that condition.  Love the Jerome Rozen covers.  Cool interior illos, too.

Thanks.  I've managed to complete the Dr Yen Sin set (only 3 issues) but no Wu Fangs yet.

This cover grabs me. And Lovecraft :cloud9:

As a pulp neophyte, I was just wondering a few things:

How big is pulp supply/demand (say, in relation to comics)?

Is there a recommended price guide?

Can you get these graded and slabbed?
