GreatEscape
For my Joe Jusko Batman painting (“One Dark Knight”), I chose a blue and black textured frame with silver accents with black and grey mats. Proud to have this on my wall. Huge 18” x 23” image, 28” x 33” overall size. on Stefanomjr, gumbydarnit, Captain ShipWreck and 1 other

Everything had previously been in portfolios, but @GreatEscape’s post on this thread made me look into the matboard and bag option. I went with a mat size that came with show bags using his method. I can rotate pieces onto the ledges, so I can see different art when I go peruse books. It’s no museum, but I really like how they turned out, especially the double page spreads which I couldn’t see without taking out of the Itoyas before. I love this format because it's cheap and saves space. I just placed an order on eGerber and plan to do this with some 9"x12" pieces. I'll have one frame and then i'll interchange the mat/art every so often. It's a lot cheaper than buying multiple frames and then have to decide where to squeeze them in on the wall. This way, you just have one frame and change up the art every few months. Stefanomjr

Rick2you2
I just got a two page spread and placed a copy of it on my desktop as wallpaper (very good fit, by the way). I was wondering if anyone has used the carousel feature in Windows to display rotating views of different pieces of art? Twanj

fmaz
Hate when this thread falls so far down… I love seeing stuff framed and on walls! Got my latest back today and it joined my BA wall… it’s the only wall with space left in my office, and down to three spots left. Would love to call it my SA/BA wall… but nothing qualifies as of yet. 1971 & 1972 are still my oldest pieces. My other walls are comic strips and modern splashes/commissions. Amazing wall, love that everything matches - and that is a very interesting ceiling texture, I've never seen that before.

Thanks! I’m all about everything matching… it makes my brain itch if it doesn’t 😂 The only exception is that quad-signed (Chris Evans, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, and Anthony Mackie) Billy Martin piece. It was framed when I bought it, and since it blends pretty well with my framing — I have justified the discrepancy by saying that because it’s colored it can be a little different. But believe me, there are days I contemplate marching it down to the framers. It’s a sickness. 🤪 Dr. Balls
furthur
Some of y’all might remember “Frame it Again Sam” temporary frames. He went out of business a while back so I asked my framer here in Atlanta if he could recreate the frames which allow you to swap out art in a backing board and Mylar (or not if you don’t care or only will have the art up a little while) it takes about two minutes to swap out art and they are made to fit 11x17 art with a little room to spare. I love them! Anyone interested can reach out to me at benno119@gmail.com and I’ll see if I can get him to make a few more. Cost about 275.00 but the ability to have a nice looking frame you can swap out quickly is worth it to me fenip and Twanj
