The Silver Surfer story by Englehart/Buscema published in this issue was taken from an unused one intended for Silver Surfer #1 (1987). An editorial change to the direction of the book forced it to be rewritten (Surfer no longer Earthbound). This caused delays. But after watching the Marvel movies. Nostalgia started kicking in and I am back. I just bought a few silver age and got them signed and just came back. Feel like a kid again. Granted I never had these as a kid but I am getting to fulfilled my childhood collector fantasy. Awesome books! I too am sorry to hear about the loss of your collection.
