Nope both books were out 8/62 the same time why would you think it's suspicious?

Yes, with June 5, 1962 being the official release month for both books. On the newsstands simultaneously.

Also, this is from an episode of the TV series Naked City. Almost hopped out of my chair while watching this episode on DVD some years ago. Another comic related factoid, the bad guy being pursued in this episode (Burgess Meredith) would eventually play the Penguin in the Batman TV series around five years later. 

PS: The newsstand dealer is Gene Hackman (French Connection, et al.)

I posted this in the other thread, too, but if anyone comes in here wondering the same thing, my guess is that it's The Adventures of Superman, season 4, episode 2 - "The Unlucky Number".  Let me know if I'm wrong. lol.

DK the episode, but the cover date of the Superman comic is November, 1955.
