So I'm watching 28 Days Later for the first time.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kirkman said, "I saw 28 Days Later shortly before the first issue of Walking Dead was released. That first issue came out in October of 2003 and 28 Days Later was released in the States in June of 2003. So we were working on our second issue by the time I saw it", before adding, "Yeah. It was a little annoying. But great minds think alike, right".

I'd say common look...but I can't wait to find out either way!

 

I thought those two riders were Ken and Marco until this latest issue. It still may be, but now I'm thinking not. Though One of the riders does appear to be injured.

I'm guessing the two riders may be guards near the Hilltop. They have an advance warning from Marco about a herd in the area so I'm curious to see how this plays out.

Just re read issues 127 & 128 and something I missed,

Your right there is a lot of talk about the fair. Alexandria is expecting a large crowd, maybe that's how Kirkman is going to get the herd close enough to Alexandria to surprise them without the lookouts alerting anyone.

Finally got these in! Man they took forever. I like the way they did Rick and Andrea. With that scar on her face, but her eyebrows are so big. Not a huge fan of broads with huge eyebrows, but in Andreas case I'll make an exception. :cloud9:

I was giving some thought to the various plot points/story threads that have been created over the past few issues and not yet resolved. I am enjoying the change of pace from the recurring "how will [Rick/Negan] get out of this bind next issue" plot that we were given through most of All Out War. Not that all of the points listed below are incredibly interesting, but I think it's great having so many questions that I care about finding the answers to again.

 

Edit: I'm putting the list in spoiler tags for anyone who isn't caught up.

 

 

 

Characters:

Magna & her group - what is their "real" backstory? - #127

- Lived in a nursing home - #128

- Spent 7 months on the road before finding Rick's group - #128

- She said they "encountered no other people" during the 7 months (unlikely) - #128

- She said she she's seen torture and knows what it does to people (inconsistent with above points) - #130
