I enjoy those old Action comics. #60 is on my wantlist.

I prefer the non-super hero covers. To me this depicts a soldier in anger over the death of his fellow troops on the beaches of Normandy:

 

this one really is cool as heck !!

I like that one as well. And Adventure 79, if not #1, has to be in the top few.

one more before I go to bed, since it's been mentioned but not shown, Action #63, probably my 2nd fav DC war cover. sorry it's PGX, but it's the only PGX book I have, and I would gladly upgrade it to a nice CGC copy, but this issue doesn't come up for sale too often.
