Man, those are great Matt Baker covers.

Kinda wish my early buying focus would have been on these rather than Silver and Golden Age DC’s!

Thanks for posting.

Luckily, I realized very early that there was so much more than just “men in tights” and what everyone else was collecting. That being said, I wish I’d bought more “love” books back when they were cheap…

Being a PCH collector, these, along with Nightmare, were among the first of my Baker purchases. I didn’t even know who he was back then. Love the #14 with the Creature of the Black Lagoon guys!

How many copies of Ghost Adventure 14 do you think exist?

not super rare for a Baker, but in pretty high demand especially of late. sales data according to myslabbed , not including the 4.0 (3.3k) sold yesterday on ha.com

If anyone is interested Harley has a 4.5 for sale at around 5-6K

The 6.5 for 18k is staggeringly high to me.  Is that an outlier or is this book about to take off?

It is definitely out of place, but Heritage auctions often produce interesting results, as it only takes two "collectors". I personally have got caught up in the frenzy of wanting something so beyond market, time will tell.

I know what you mean.  Would 14 in the top 10 of Matt baker covers or is it in a lower tier?

Top 10 in IMO, considering its unique material for Baker, classic composition and of course sheer awesomeness
