Ricksneatstuff
Testing this out. Really still have to use a photo service unless they increase the upload capacity. I don't think I have any comic pics that are .44 MB It does not appear my URL image is coming through from postimage Edited February 9, 2017 by Cartophile
29dukedog
OK, time to take this new buggy out for a test drive... Image from Photobucket:
29dukedog
Seems to be working... so far. Except I forgot to select "Notify me of replies"... so I'll do that now. (That's one of the best things about this new board- I get to start fresh with the thread reply notifications. I never could figure out how to switch that off of threads I no longer wanted to be notified about.) 29dukedog
Yeah, the image size limitation really sucks. I was looking forward to breaking free of Photobucket... but not if it means resizing every image I want to post.

But PB scans are too large, so I have to paste in the URL, just as with the old boards.
MrBedrock
I am happy that I haven't had to rely on Photobucket. It is now so easy to drag from my desktop!

When I scanned them originally I already sized them. Habit from sizing scans for our site.

29dukedog
I guess more than a few of my pics are already small enough to drag and drop (assuming this test is successful...)
