selegue
Strange Adventures? Never heard of it... All the Gardner Fox (et al) science fiction plot devices make this a great series for my elements in comics fixation. This one has a boffo [any need for a spoiler? probably not] calcium carbonate punch line. I have a reprint in DC Super-Stars. Jack
selegue
Thought I would see if this thread goes anywhere. We have a MIS thread which has a lot of great covers, so why not Strange Adventures. I'll start with a few of my favorites. Ken I am a die hard Neal Adams cover fan, but this one has always been a cover that I would be proud to own. Thnks for the thread! What's the connection to Neal Adams? Do you think it looks like one of his sources? Or do you just mean, "even though it's not Adams..."? Overall, I'd say that Captain Comet had one of the best cover runs of the "Atomic Age". Jack
selegue
One of my favorite covers of the run. From the pink gas (air) pump to the style of clothes on the people, this cover screams 1950's. This scan does not do the actual rich colors on the book justice. Ken Another great element cover that I've never noticed! Jack

johnenock
A couple repeats and one I think I bought from Ken...just got another couple in today and will scan those in on Wednesday... I'll get a better scan of this one too, minus the slab... Of course, this one is a favorite also...
