This comic has gained some notoriety for it's bizarre Alf-on-seal action, and Chuck has probably noticed higher-than-normal orders, so he jacked the price.

Probably because it was the first listing in Chuck's weekly "New $50+ comics" link.

 

It's one thing to price aggressively, it's another to assrape the GP and then in a second breath say how you are the cheapest place to buy comics. Chuck's really got some 'splainin to do on that one
