Seriously, I love this site! I decided to run a search for fantastic four comics in my local area and sure enough, some guy about 15 miles away is selling a bunch of silver age F.F., Iron Man, Avengers, etc. So I shoot him an email and ask him what he's got. He had just about every issue of F.F. issue from about #33 and up as well as some earlier ones such as #3, 7, and 10. Anyways, I noticed he had issues #48 and #112 which are two big keys I don't have in my collection. $70 later, they were mine. I just got done reading #48. Talk about a great story. Really makes me want to read #49 and #50.

 

#48 is about a 3.0

#112 is about a 6.5-7.0

 

Not too shabby I think for what I paid.

But, the pinkish Galactus just doesn't do it for me... I keep telling myself it was a printing plate mix-up... No one could have thought a guy dressed up in that color scheme would frighten the FF.....

Not only did you get a great deal, you can probably sell the FF48 for more than you paid for all of it, you picked up some of the best comics ever produced.

X-Men #6 and #17- $80 for both

Batman #32- $175

Batman #78- $35 ( not that great a shape)

Strange Tales #125- $70

Fantastic Four #50- $120

Tales of Suspense #48 - $100 (first modern Iron Man costume)

Tales of Suspense #58 - $75 (first Cap/Iron Man story)

Tales of Suspense #66 - $40

 

I backed out because the ff#5 had a tear on the cover and x-men #6 had a loose page, those were the two i really wanted
