Popular Post Bradley Phillips
The coolest comic I own! I love it. It's been my #2 most wanted comic for most of my life. (#1 being AF15. skyline23
Hi everyone, not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I was curious if anyone has any opinions/thoughts on how rare (or common) white pages are on this book? On the AF15 thread I have learned that it's apperently extra rare for that particular book, not just books from the early 60s in general (Someone posted a link where it claimed less then 25 were labeled as white pages). At least anecdotally, from what I've seen (even just scrolling through this thread) white pages seem to not be as rare for ASM 1s, and that logically makes sense since there are more ASMs in the census and the book is a few months "newer". Oh, and here is my temporary entry to the club, however I sold it book a few months ago and have an upgrade on the way, which I will excitedly share pics of once I complete the transaction (and yes, the upgrade does have white pages although for me that was a secondary bonus, as for my collection I personally value other factors of how a book looks/presents first, and as long as the PQ is better than light tan I'm ok) Edited January 19, 2022 by skyline23 Point Five, RetiredOldMan, ernster and 1 other

But there are white paged cgc copies of both books out there. DST

Popular Post Dark Knight
I'll take all offwhite and offwhite-white page book for a large discount compared to what white paged copies go for now.. People who have been in this hobby for long know that page quality is subjective and is not an exact science. The CGC grader(s) can flip flop calling a book offwhite or offwhite-white or offwhite-white or white. Happened to me a few times when I re-submitted books. spracknetch23, KCOComics, alexgross.com and 3 others

You pretty much summed up my thoughts. If the description within the recent AF15 4.0 WP sale for $78,400 on comiclink were believed to be true, then there are only 23 graded universal unrestored copies of AF15 with WP (out of 2,274 on the census) or almost 1:100. I can't speak to whether the "23" number is accurate or not, but I can speak to my own personal experience as a strictly WP collector and someone who has been fortunate to own 2 WP copies along my collecting journey. Since the inception of third party professionally grading comics, I've kept track of every AF15 with WP I've ever seen and I can account for 15 copies (including the two I've owned). It's definitely a unicorn amongst SA keys. ASM1 with WP however is not (it's still a great achievement though!). Owning any big SA key, let alone one with WP is pretty special, so congrats! As for the rest of the Ditko drawn ASMs, across all grades, you are correct as I've found ASM3 to be the rarest Regarding PQ being subjective, just like grade, I completely agree. However I don't think that necessarily makes the point about value. I see the other side and the fact that since it's so subjective, owning a WP copy (especially when it’s a bigger SA key), makes it all the more worthy of the premiums that WP go for when you can find them. Or maybe I'm just rationalizing that to myself since I only buy WP books and as such have to pay top dollar Edited January 21, 2022 by DST MattTheDuck, Math Teacher, skyline23 and 8 others

Only 64 CGC universal UK price variants (out of 3099 total, including cents version, so 2.1%). I have a feeling you'll have more UKPVs to post. Generally, especially for early SA keys, UKPVs make up about only 2% of universal CGC census, but could be as little as 1.7% (see Strange Tales 110), 1.4% (see Fantastic Four 1) and 1.2% (see FF2). Can't wait to see what else you post! KirbyJack and Wiffy
