I am suprised by this also. I know at the Atomic signing he did a lot more and stay a lot longer than he was scheduled. I am hoping he will do more .

He arrived pretty late, so that was the least he could do.

yeah, he was the last to show up...hour and half later than everyone else...

i heard they already handed out all 150 tickets for the mcfarlane signing!?!?? i swear, if i show up at 9 AM tomorrow and they don't have any...well...PhiGam will be upset :sumo:

It was easy to get tickets for the signing. During the signing the announced they had a few more tickets and I walked up and got one without trying. As I was not interested in his signature I gave it to a forum member there to use. As I was walking back from giving the first ticket away a girl handed me another one which went to another forum member. I wasn't the only forum member who was able to get multiple tickets. It was very easy to do with little effort.

Glad to hear there were more tickets. I thought he had time to do more than 150.

I think they ran the line very well and the CGC booth was right next door.

I had to leave the show right after I got my books signed so I couldn't see how it turned out but the begining looked very good

Today at the Mcfarlane Booth it looked very crazy. I did not see Todd McFarlane there but they were having a raffle.

I can tell you that not all Todd books were signed...

2 per ticket, per person...

You are right about that. I know not all orders were filled by the dealers who do the signnings. The limit was two , but some people were able to get up to 3 books signed not all ,but some.

I don't know what people were crying about. I got all 50 of my comics that I submitted to be signed and witnessed by a CGC SS witness without any problems.

It is true that getting the tickets was easier than expected, but the McFarlane employees who ran the line were strict to the point of being rude, borderline obnoxious/insulting, and, well, let me just say difficult. Yes, on occasion some people got 3 items signed during their pass in line, but that simply encouraged the handlers to be even stricter with the people immediately behind them.

Todd was nice and pleasant when you were in front of him getting books signed, and the line did move quickly which was great. People should check with their specific witness handling their books to discuss their success rate.
