Obama ASM comic $60 bucks a piece

This issue may cause me to stop collecting ASM, the only title I still collect. I don't want this variant in my collection out of principle.

I agree with Captain, I will never buy this issue. I wish upon those who buy it... well I will leave that to my own opinion. It's a shame Marvel is getting political as blatantly as this. Marvel has been political before, but never like this. This is the "latest rage" though, to be outspoken. Just wait until the Fairness Doctrine is passed again, then let's talk about outspokeness... or will we?

Well I just sold mine for $110.00. Fell kinda weird for doing it, but the Phx con is around the corner and I can use the money on a nice SA book.

I went to my LCS yesterday and all they received was the regular Spidey cover. They did not received any Obama covers. I put down my name on their waiting list for three of these Obama covers (at cover price) when they come in next week. Do you guys think that next week's books will be a second printing and so will be less valuable?

 

Let us know if 'suddenly' next week your LCS have some at a higher price tag !?!

I've seen it happen, especially during the 'Death' of Superman days and with the

ASM 911 cover.

My money is on this one.

In the last 5 years, what other modern comic as caused this frenzy other then CA 25? I asked because I only have been back collecting comics again these last 15 months after a 13 year break.

Well Capt America 25 has pretty much settled into a double cover book. I think this will eventually be a triple cover price book. More were printed than people think it will turn out.
