Everyone I think that cares about TMNT #1 knows Valiantman and I did that mega trade, and Valiantman started this thread in Comics General:

I will always defend TMNT #1 as a mega book, and I am really not a huge TMNT fan as much as I am a Spider-man fan. Obviously will see the movie though, can't wait!

 

I just take offense to anyone in the hobby that says TMNT #1 is a bubble or fad type book. That is so asinine it is beyond idiotic. I am not a huge Turtles fan, but when other people don't see that Turtles has a huge fan base it gets on my nerves, so I posted this as my last post in that thread and will repost here for you guys. (thumbs u

This thread needs to die so as my last post here I will just say if someone also agrees with this:

 

"TMNT #1 has always had a very narrow collector base that is smaller than the 3000 print run which has always been able to satisfy."

Thanks to a boardie that goes by the moniker toitle, I am a very happy camper! (thumbs u As far as I could see there are very few TMNT #1 CGC SS Eastman & Laird 1st print high grade copies circulating and I was fiending for a copy!

 

Sure, I could have easily bought a copy without the sigs, or a universal copy with sigs on the inside, but for me the dual sigs of both creators on the cover was an absolute necessity!

 

Thanks again to my bro toitle for making this possible, especially in the year of our favorite amphibians 30 anniversary!

Thanks to a boardie that goes by the moniker toitle, I am a very happy camper! (thumbs u As far as I could see there are very few TMNT #1 CGC SS Eastman & Laird 1st print high grade copies circulating and I was fiending for a copy!

 

Sure, I could have easily bought a copy without the sigs, or a universal copy with sigs on the inside, but for me the dual sigs of both creators on the cover was an absolute necessity!

 

Thanks again to my bro toitle for making this possible, especially in the year of our favorite amphibians 30th anniversary!
