Nice copies!  I just noticed that the Marvel 3 inside front cover ad is the same telescope ad on the Marvel 1 inside back cover but the coupon is DEPT H on Marvel 3 and DEPT C on the Marvel 1. The third scan is the modified telescope ad that appeared in Marvel 9. Still $2.19. These telescope ads must have been very popular since we see a lot of Marvel 1s with missing back covers.

Timelys always had the ads that did not match month to month which makes it hard to marry up. DC was very consistent with their ad placements. Many Marvel 1s missing their back covers for sure. That telescope ad on the Marvel 9 is what makes it difficult to match back covers with RR1.
