Kudos to Sean (worship)

I think those must be mostly bronze/modern type people...they don't really sound familiar, except for one.

Maybe the solution would be to start collecting GA books...

hm

Wait, scratch that..too many people do that now... :tonofbricks:

It's 12. I can't believe you couldn't be bothered to count. And do the rest of the list you lazy mess.

I was actually expecting some kudos for doing a little digging. I feel like a deflated balloon. You mean, mean man.

I don't think a certain number of posts makes a person any more or less trustworthy.
Yeah, I was kind of thinking I'd start my scamming right around post 8250.

At the slow rate you're posting, it ain't never gonna happen lol

Never trust anyone under 20,000. rantrant

All kidding aside though. You will never be able to protect yourself againt thieves 100%.

A combo of x # of post combined with membership for x # of weeks before you can sell here might eliminate the rip & run types.

The more clever ones will start padding their post count with HAPPY BIRTHDAY post....wait a minute... hm

IT always amazes me the effort people will make to swindle someone out of a little money. Seems a lot easier and certainly less risky just to get a freaking job.
(worship)

:gossip: if folks would just get a job instead of doing a lot of the things they do to obtain a little money, the country would be in a much better place 2c

It's been 30 days since I sold a book on the cgc sales forum and I'm still waiting for payment. Should I relist the book

Again here. What is the standard procedure after 30 days

I initially agreed to wait 2 weeks as part of the initial I'll take it agreeement. Later on I extended by another 14 days. Now on day 30. What's the best way to handle this.

The buyer has had plenty of time to pay for the book or get back to you.

You could put him on the probation list and have him removed if and when he pays.

he hasn't checked his pm since the agreed upon deadline on day 28. He promised to pay on day 28 via paypal

personally, i'd check to see if he's posted here in the two days since the agreed upon deadline. if he hasn't, i'd give it a few more days. sometimes life interrupts and people don't get on here as often as usual. if he has posted since the deadline, i'd out him.

Post count is a factor. How many people join a forum, actively participate in it for a few years with a plan to scam everyone in year 3? Well, certainly not that common... scammers usually don't have that much patience.

Are there any Canadians on the probation list? Clearly only Canadians can be trusted.

Keep us updated here, Dat. 14 days is gratious, then it turns to 30 days with no response. You got some nice books, he probably bit off more than he could chew and is scrambling for the dough.
