I need to nominate rawisokv, on Nov 17 I purchased a comic he is in possession of. He has promised to mail me the comic 4 times and still hasn't.

Details?

 

 

I purchased a comic from Anthony Castrillo off of the forums. On Nov. 17, 2012. On Nov. 20, 2012 I learned Anthony didn't have the comic in his possession. It was (and still is) in the possession of rawisokv. Four times Anthony told me my comic was on its way (Nov. 20 and again on the 29th, also Dec 29 and Jan 2)after the first two times Anthony wasn't able to get him to mail off the comic so I contacted rawisokv on Dec. 22, 2012 to attempt to find out what was going on (and from that point forward Anthony and I have both been trying to get him to mail my comic). At that time he informed me he knew about the arrangement and would be shipping me the comic the week of Christmas, nothing, then he was going to mail it Jan 7, nothing. Then Jan 12, still nothing now he tells me it will happen Monday.

 

It's been more than a month so it seems your nomination is in order.

I wasn't positive about the protocol so I asked a few members who have been around for awhile and have helped me previously and they seemed to feel that since he was the one with the comic and did not dispute that he was supposed to ship it to me that he is the one I really have the problem with (shrug) Really I just want my comic. I don't like trying to get someone in trouble.

If Rawisoky agreed to the arrangement and four times promised the book was going out, with nothing forthcoming, he is most definitely a part of the problem.

 

Send Rawisoky a NEW PM telling him about his nomination to the PL list. Wait three days. Then report back the result. If nothing if forthcoming he should go on the list.

Obviously I don't understand the situation or the relationships here but it just seems odd to me. If I buy something from amazon and they don't deliver I don't take it up with UPS or USPS, I take it up with amazon.

you actually have to take it a step further ..... imagine the original seller is a certified amazon seller (amazon fulfills their orders) so you buy it from them and it's fullfilled by amazon. amazon ships you the item and they take a commission off of that sale and if you have any issues you deal with amazon, not the seller that provided the original product.

 

i maybe new to the boards but it happens every once in awhile in various other hobbies and is usually frowned upon when someone lists something for sale that's not in hand so they have a virtual inventory, unless they state that the item is not in hand and there would be delay in shipping since they have to wait for the item to ship to them
