Actually . Wintersoldier is doing the right thing bringing it up here. I was reading about the Paypal situation he wrote. Toyman saying Paypal wanted to put a hold because he was new. Then asking for a check or MO. If that is the case, and if the original deal was for Paypal, then there is no obligation to be forced to send a check or MO. To my mind the seller has a right to back out if the original payment plans change.

 

If this is what happened then Wintersoldier should be in the clear.

If Toyman isn't around, and the comics aren't for sale so WS can buy them to clear himself, how can WS get off the list?

I believe this occurred before the PM rule was implemented. It wasn't always a requirement to put somebody on the list.

As far as some of the statements that you have made about board members stating personal things about you I assume you are referring to someone else and not me

 

All the things I stated were facts

You are on the list, you did say no Probies, you have had multiple sales threads

Sounds like you need to get up with the guy that nominated you and get him to clear your name. IDK what you want someone like me to do or say.

 

Not you specifically. I'm directing this towards member's who are insinuating I'm a hypocrite and have a history of a being a bad member ....when I do not. Check out my feedback thread....or do a simple search on me....I have 0 bad things said about me other then being wrongfully nominated by a member named Toyman ....who if you look him up has a bad rep.

 

It doesn't make any sense when a person came be nominated/listed for no reason whatsoever ...

 

by a board member who clearly doesn't have a good reputation to begin with.

 

My point stands - you need to get up with Toyman to clear your name. "We" can't do a thing about it.

Just like if a seller were to try to add the Paypal 3% to your invoice without mentioning it to the buyer ahead of time. Once the payment terms change, without the buyer's consent or knowledge, the sale is null and void.

This is kind of insane considering that he can nominate me with no Merritt and I'm just placed on the list. When I have 0 negative things said about me in the community.

I see your point but also this transaction was/is/never happened almost a year ago. toymans last pm was 12/2012

 

My question is why did it take someone almost a year to ask about it and since the books were never paid for. and toyman has not been active for almost 6 months what do you do?

If Winter still has the paypal info showing the refunded money from the seller, and were to PM that to you Pov, would that be enough to get him off the list? Considering the seller has been MIA for over 5 months now.

I have no objection to that but I'm not a PL/HOS official (there are none). But Edwin, if you do please make sure you black out things that are sensitive security-wise.

Nope. Not as a part of the process anyway.

That's the thing I had no clue I was on the list. I never got a message.
