Before that I wasn’t going through slow and checking values on variants.  Here’s one more.  There were more good deals too I’ll try to post.

Two from a "collectibles" sale this morning.  There were a reasonable number of Bronze ASM's and some other titles, but they were in pretty rough shape.

Red Dragon has a fully detached cover (and in fact no back cover at all) but the interior is complete and all folds attached.

The first day he brought the Spawns they were $5 each mostly.  Every time after that they were priced at close to FMV.  The first day I only left a couple because I already had them.  I only had one of the below previously.  After this I slowed down buying them because they were pricier.  I’ll have to wait until I get back into town to post the other ones.  But there were quite a few of the more desirable ones.

 

I also picked up these on one occasion.  The Pitts were also $2 each, 10-20.

Oh there was another group I had already taken a picture of.  I like the Capullo and Lee covers.

 

I’ve also been picking up Invincible.  Prices were pretty good on these but this second print was a good deal.

You've shared a lot of steals and severely under priced bargains like Spawn 150 Jim Lee variant for $10 and the Image United Jim Lee variant for $5.. those take years to find at those prices

Trolled some garage sales this morning, brought home a few including a batch of Dark Horse Star Wars newsstands and some others. Nothing too exciting. This I paid $20 for pretty pricey for a garage sale!

Indeed. For me it was jr high or there abouts, I remember "borrowing" a "Details" magazine to read during study hall, just because it had a nine ince nails article in it. I want to say I remember the Adam ant connection from even way back then

Local moving sale - heading to Hawaii.  Said he had a full set of Marvel Silver Age which he's not selling .  The Duck wept.  And yet not unhappy with what I did get and the price was right

Found some untouched 80s/90s stock. Me and this other guy got there at the same time to look but he beat me to it literally because he lived closer. We both agreed not to do a bidding war so I did a deal with him afterwards. In hindsight I wish I got more since it’s all minty fresh. I grabbed one of my local comic friends and together we made more than half of the guys money back. Here’s what I took home.

Had a good weekend out in the wild. Several cool finds. About 25 old GA/SA comics, about 30 old MADs going back to #26 with a couple EC issues as well as some very early Cracked mags. A nice shape little group of scarcer Big little books that came out of an old garage. Probably should have bought more of those. And even a Roger Clemens rookie baseball card a guy threw in free. Well worth getting up early and driving around.

He got the bulk of it all. There was probably about 8 more copies each of the Joe books. A run of Dr strange at least 10 copies each. A run of guardians of the galaxy 10 issues each. Superman 1 with Metallo about 70 copies. Some more Superman. More ghost rider about 15 copies each. Including the glow in the dark. I thought about getting more of those but i recently did a cgc sub with a bunch. I really like the painted covers. Overall I think I did pretty good especially with Ghost Rider 28. I should be able to make my money back on those and happy to have high grade copies of the Joe books for my collection. Most should be 9.8. It's been a while since I've seen a dealer lot of books. If only it had been new mutants 98
