Now, that is what I call a SCORE! Congrats! Usually, flea market comics are moderns or low grade swill. Not worth bending over to pick up. I usually just leave them for the flipper kids.

The epics were the most expensive at $10 a piece.

The others were $5 to $6 a piece

My daughter with some of her Turtle toys. Her mom didn’t throw them away.

I remember you posting them. I didn't get many figures as a kid, I was out riding my bike up ramps, construction and lived 3 to 4 blocks from the hippy trendy stores.

I sold her big sister’s original Star Wars boxed toys and bought her a car when she turned 16. Saved a couple for my future grandkids that came along later.

I picked up a few nice things.  Almost the whole Born Again saga for $2 each, A Flex Mentallo and some others for $1 each.  I also found one of the Manara variants for $20.  I was really hoping that one or more of them would be in this collection.

I had a booth at a local toy show. I was able to pick these up before the show started.

This first batch was $3 each, but I still didn't get the Rom #32 I need to finish my X-Men storyline.

 

This next group was 25 cents each.

The guy put out next weeks books right before close, a lower quantity of them for next week, and texted me that they were available.  I guess it pays to help him carry boxes.

I like the Bob’s Burgers.  I’m going to go back Friday and spend a little more time with them.

Had a great day at the flea market today. One of my dealer friends who runs estate sales called me over to his booth as I walked up. He told me he had a box of comics he got out of a house. As luck would have it, a couple of guys we call the “twins” heard him and pushed in front of me. These guys are real annoying and all the dealers and my comic buddies can’t stand them. They always gang up and pick the boxes clean then lowball the sellers.

My buddy told them, they could look after I was done. He pretended he couldn’t find the box and the twins slinked away. Wasn’t all that killer to me but some real cool stuff. I picked out a nice stack and offered him a very fair price. I then told him what he had and what to ask for them. This is how to get first pick. The best part was the look on their sad faces…
