SPOOOOONNNNNNNN!!!

15o9f21.jpg

On August 29, 2006, Buena Vista Home Entertainment released the first season of The Tick on DVD as The Tick Vs. Season One. This collection contains only 12 of the 13 episodes. On May 31, 2006, Disney released the following statement regarding the missing episode: "Due to licensing problems, episode #11 ("The Tick vs. The Mole Men") is not included. However, we hope to include it in future DVD releases of The Tick. This spoon given out at the San Diego Comic Con that year celebrated the release of The Tick DVD.

Wise guys as we are we had The Tick successfully 'predict' the 1992 election by printing THREE different cover versions! Extra cover wraps around the 'normal' 4 cover. You get the BUSH CLINTON and PEROT cover predictions at a very good price.

hm

I have a feeling we'll be seeing new super hero films scheduled for release for several more years past 2021. I just hope studios see the market for creating films on a much smaller production scale. As much as I enjoy some of the huge production super hero films, I do prefer films with much lower budgets that are well written/acted and not just primarily focused on casting big name actors and having over the top CGI throughout the film. The predictable one liners and explosions can get pretty redundant to me.

I know...a little bit early for Halloween, but...

2hd8pcp.jpg

1994 FCN FOX CHILDREN'S NETWORK, INC. TICK CHARACTER TM 1994 BEN EDLUND. AUTHORIZED USER: RUBIE'S FABRIC COSTUME, RICHMOND HILL, N.Y., ITEM #30475 RUBIE'S COSTUME CO. BOUGHT BEN COOPER, INC. IN 1992. AS A SIDE NOTE: In the 1960s and 1970s, Ben Cooper, Inc., was one of the "big three" Halloween costume companies, along with Collegeville and the H. Halpern Company (Halco). The company became known for licensing popular film and television characters and getting their images onto store shelves quickly. For example, it licensed Spider-Man, a virtually unknown character at the time, in 1963. The company also licensed the Batman character in 1964. The company produced a very popular Richard Nixon mask in the late 1960s, which sold as equally well as its Ronald Reagan mask even in the late 1980s. The company produced a George H. W. Bush mask in 1987, anticipating Bush's election as president by a year. In 1979, Ben Cooper, Inc., was still the largest Halloween costume company in the U.S. That same year, the firm issued its first costume based on a character in an R-rated motion picture, the creature from the film Alien.
