Exactly! I sell them, not collect them. Anything that touches my hands now is purely to flip and make a quick buck before the bubble bursts in everyones face.

Aren't you the little Devil.

OA isn't for everyone, but wonder what the guy who paid $12K for the 9.9 would buy if he had it to do over again. The highest graded copy (of which there are now 3, I believe?) or a truly one-of-kind collectible (at 1/3 the price).

Where did Deadpool's double-shock leg pouches go in the last panel?

Yeah, modern prices are so screwy...OA would have been much better.

I saw that page last night. I was looking through Craigslist and saw someone selling a collection that included NM98 and he didn't want to break it up. I looked up NM98 to see if it was worth buying the collection and selling that issue off to possibly get myself some cheap/free readers. A NM98 in near mint condition goes for way less than I thought it does. I decided not to contact the guy since the issue would likely sell for about $30

I used to love Fruit Stripe gum. :cloud9:

Great gum but it only lasted like 2 minutes...

There's a dirty joke in there somewhere, but I'm just not on form tonight. :P

The joke requires taking out dentures...

I know this has been discussed in the Pedigree Comics auction thread, but, seriously, this atrocity sale deserves to be pilloried highlighted in its own thread for posterity:

New Mutants #98 CGC 9.9 Sells for $12,250

I don't know whether to :roflmao: or  because the little bit of faith in humanity I had left has been ripped to shreds.

That's more than I just sold my Batman #1 for.

:frustrated:

12K I would drown on a 9.4 ASM#6 and take the remains and buy beer. lol
