How to sell moderns/coppers?

I am currently looking at a collection of about 5000 books, which I believe to be 90% plus moderns/coppers. If I cherry pick this collection, what are boardies finding as the best outlet to sell these mod/copper books. And am I wrong in assuming they are going to go for 10 cents a book?

 

(I am a golden/silver/bronze collector, hence my niave question)

10 cents a book is a good price for VF/NM "unread" Coppers/Moderns.

 

Your best bet is to put or keep all the runs together. You could get as much as 50c, $1, or maybe a little more per book for some runs.

 

Don't waste time slabbing them.

Keep the runs together, and sell as a lot with shipping included in the price. I'd be interested in two of them, multiplied by the other half of the lot, that would be four. Extrapoliate by any other interested parties and quite a few would be gone.

I'm wondering the same thing... I'm sitting on about 5000 books that I want to move too, but I'm not sure what to do with them...

 

thought about setting up at a Con again and maybe doing $.50 books and then just donating the rest to good will or something.

 

Also thought about just selling to the store... or listing on CraigsList...

 

Are you trying to sell pieces or move the lot in bulk? I mostly just want to push the whole lot out the door in one piece

I don't have the collection, just trying to see if it's worth buying. I would try selling some runs or whole titles, I suppose.
