Jaydogrules
$17,925 achieved. Do we pass 19k? http://comics.ha.com/itm/silver-age-1956-1969-/showcase-4-the-flash-dc-1956-cgc-fn-60-off-white-to-white-pages/a/7099-91501.s Almost par for what an AF15 in grade goes for Not too sure about that. That 6.0 AF 15 in the CC auction could flirt with $30k. -J. 2014 (1) $25,000Hi 2013 (1) $17,925Hi 2012 (6) $22,108Hi $17,533Lo Not many sales to to compare but falls right in line with those points... Where it stands now it really is closer to being somewhere in the middle of more recent 5.0 and 5.5 AF 15 sales results. Still not bad though. (thumbs u -J. Jaydogrules
Showcase #4 CGC 7.5 closed at $17,925 The 6.0. . That's about on par with what an AF 15, 5.0 would bring. The 5.5 AF 15 with the gnarly dog ear went for about $20.3k. -J.

Diamonddave
Got a line on a Showcase 4 with a popped staple, back cover has three large tears and one huge section missing from the nutty putty ad. Front cover has 1 thumb sized section missing, water staining is evident, pages look tan to brittle. Seller wants 3.5K, probably grade out at a 1.8. To buy or not to buy? Hulksdaddy1
$3500 is a little strong IMO. I'd offer $2500, go from there.
jimjum12
My friend Mark, an LCS owner, has a 6.5(p) CGC copy of Showcase 4 at his shop for $ 5000. It has some fill in at the top and bottom of the spine, a little color touch there, and a staple tear seal. It was probably a 5.0 or better before the work and actually looks almost VF now. If anyone is interested, I can put you two together. GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u

If the book in question is truely a 1.8, $3,500 doesnt seem too bad I suppose.
Superman2006
ComicConnect bidding on the 8.5 Mohawk Valley copy of Showcase #4 is up to $48K with 11 days to go. It's a sharp looking 8.5 IMO. It will be interesting to see where it ends up at! http://www.comicconnect.com/bookSearch.php?title=showcase&issue=
ft88
How do they not show the back cover on the other two Showcases? A $7 or $70 books, OK fine. But a $7000+ book, even graded should show the back cover.
Boba
That and grade trimmed books with tape all over them as fine. Pure fantasy
NinjaSealed
Check CC's listing on the trimmed one again. Someone changed the grade and description. Originally labeling that book a fine was a pretty gross misrepresentation of the book.
