Still doesn't change my point that if I'd kept them and graded them and sold them now I'd be $100 per book better off.

My experience with people who can't grade is that they miss both up and down . . . ;)

I'm kind of a data nut, so for the folks earlier discussing just giving everything the same grade.

All 9.4 = 13-3 Oddly all 9.2 and all 9.0 yielded the same score 11-3, that's not catching the trim. So we know my crappy 9-5 was honest, but . .

There will be play-in games for the teams ranked 61-68- one play-in game for each region. The matchups are as follows:

 

61. slseals 8- 5 vs. 68. xsmanx 5- 7

62. 1koko 8 -5 vs. 67. Boozad 6- 8

63. marvelcollector 7- 5 vs. 66. cookie1963 7- 6

64. Byosti 7 -5 vs. 65. Flatrock02 7 -6

 

Rules:

 

1. Four books will be posted. PM me all grades in the order they are listed. Associate the book with the grade and include your username in the PM.

 

2. Submit your grades in standard CGC recognized increments, ie. No 9.5’s.

 

3. Due date for grades is Thursday at 10:00 PM PST or when the last team submits its grades. All grade submissions are final.

 

4. Your score will be tallied and compared to your opponent's score as follows:

 

Spot on= 20 points

Within .2= 15 points

Within .5 or closer= 10 points

Within .7 or closer =7 points

Within 1 or closer= 5 points.

Within 1.2 = 2 points.

 

Bonus (cumulative):

2 books spot on= 5 points

3 books spot on=10 points

 

The Team with the highest score wins the game and advances. There will be an overtime book posted in the event of a tie.
