I originally said this in the thread announcing his hospitalization. I'd hoped to not have to repeat it so soon...

 

Great great inker (& penciller for that matter), but I really value his contributions as an editor. I cannot think of a title where the issues he edited were not head & shoulders above those before and after. And his tenure as managing editor of DC in the 1980s was a highwater mark for the company's success & creativity.

While hard to pick one favorite, whenever I see Tec 457.. I ALWAYS think Giordano.

So sorry to hear this. Oddly, I sold a Lawbreakers Suspense 15 with classic Giordano Acid in the Face cover Thursday night. Was 1953 his earliest work?
