This was an interesting selection.

Spoiler:  No Heath.  No Severin.  No Toth.  No Frazetta.

There probably wouldn’t be a ton of overlap with my list, but I usually appreciate efforts like this as conversation starters more than definitive lists. 2c

Thanks for the head's up AS and as PopKulture mentioned above, I appreciate the effort that went into these. And what kind of top 100 list would it be if you couldn't blurt out "ugh" or "what the hell?" more than a few times? I liked seeing so many cool books on the big screen and I'm looking forward to seeing the 1-100 War books by the same person.

I watched the balance (or rather fast-forwarded via the cursor) of the 100-21 books and saw many of the books that would no doubt make many top 100 western lists. I just didn't agree with a lot of his top 20. The biggest omission for me was the lack of the Frazetta Ghost Rider covers. Unless he considers those "hero" books or something such, how in the world could several of those not make the top 100?? The top 20 for me was a little too Cole-centric. I feel some of those are just too muddled. There are a several more Baker and Kinstler covers I would've had in my top 20 let alone my top 100 (think Pancho Villa), but as you stated, what good is a list if it doesn't get your dandruff up?  :acclaim:
