Western Crime Busters #1 to #10, Trojan Magazines, 1950-1952 Didn't know much about these, but who could resist GUNSLINGIN' GALOOTS! Two stories in each issue feature a female protagonist. Some of these stories appeared in black and white in Trojan's Western pulp magazines. Very surprised to see some of the later issues feature Wally Wood artwork! Western, Women, and Woody! Nice stuff! Over the years, I have accumulated most of the ones with better covers and interior art. I’m glad “westerns are dead”. Makes it a lot more affordable to pick up some of the cooler ones. I just read this issue recently, and I didn't remember any 'drug story'. I checked it again, and sure enough, the word 'opium' is mentioned once near the end of one story. Just an example of another great short western run like the ones pictured above on this page. Ingals GGA covers and stories in most. The end of the run reflected the popularity of the horror genre and contains a number of horror issues. I slowly over the years picked up most of them usually very reasonable in similar shape buried in boxes at Cons.
