I do see a bit more of TEC31 around, but I guess the demand and love is there. I hardly see a TEC29 or even a Action 7,10,13.

it is tougher...I have only owned 3 unrestored tec 29's... a 3.5 a 4.5 and a 5.0...owned a bunch of restored copies... then again, I have recently owned 3 of the 4 tec 31's in 5.0, and a ton of other copies (lower grade and restored)...

 

yes, the market as a whole prefers tec 31, which is one reason why it is traded more often, but FMV, tec 29 holds the edge (from what I have sold) and cover wise, pretty close, but I give my personal preference edge to the cool action 2nd bat cover... obviously 3 rd bat appearance, pretty cool story, 2nd bat cover, every bit as if not more important than 31 (thumbs u
