No, the Xbox 360 Slim is on sale as of tomorrow, and that's a far better deal than the Elite. Cooler, quieter, uses less power, smaller footprint, larger HD (equivalent to the $349 Super Elite), integrated wireless, far less likely to RROD.

 

Seriously, this latest Slim is world's better than an old Elite.

I have no idea how much shipping to the middle east is gonna be, but I sent my forum Christmas gift exchange gift to London this last year and that was $30. I think locating the best price possible on a NEW system is the way to go. Already boxed. Everything new.

Looks like the system we want is the Slim, and goes for $299. Paratrooper wants to get Mass Effect 1 and 2 also and maybe another new game or two which is gonna put us up to about $400 needed. Sharon has graciously volunteered to get the shipping charges.
