I will guess about $7800.

My guess is the Tec 29 will break 10K.

just ended shy of $10k at $9,600. Fairly strong price for a 29 with that large upper left POFC...any boardies win it?

I think the price is nuts based on condition. I also don't like the feedback ont he 2 underbidders. If I won this I would not be happy.... (shrug)

Just so we are clear I am not impling Sparkle City did anything I just don't like the looks of a 2 feedback bidder coming from now where and bidding 9K on a comic...

I also agree it is justified.

After seeing all the other crazy prices this year on early Tecs and other key/high demand GA. That 10K is right. (Can't believe I just said 10K is right for entry level, but its true- these books are getting crazy expensive!!!!!)

Considering that Sparkle City also sold a Tec 29 in CGC 4.5 on Ebay(I believe) for just a shade over 20K less then 4 months ago shows that either that book went too cheap or this 1.0 went wayyyyyyyyyyyy to high.

I guess it's all about timing.

Wow, the entry 1.0 level is getting quite expensive, but if you want to own a top GA... it's going to cost.

the 4.5 was competing against a very very nice eye appeal 5.0 copy that dropped bidders away from the 4.5 ( sorry DK!)

I was browsing Classics Inc's site this morning, and reviewing their "Top Four" section when I noticed this new addition to the Tec 27 scan library. This copy looks amazing! It is copy number 36 on their site

It seems somehow familiar with that small dent at the top, but I can't place it. Anyone know more about this raw copy?

Maybe it's just the pic, but it looks like a color copy.

I almost bid $10.1K, but at the last second held off - the appeal is a complete Tec 29, and the fact that there are so few low grade copies - I end up looking for one of 6 books that I can possibly "afford", and it's not like AF 15 where there are 1500 graded copies - there are only about 40 - so if I want one, I really have to go for it.

I think low grades get higher prices (relatively speaking) than mid grades because there are a larger number of us who can't reach the mid grades but want a complete copy in low grade... (shrug)

I'm fairly sure Matt can tell if it is a real book, and probably wouldn't post it if it wasn't

Yeah, something looks wrong there. It's unusual for the pages to not be showing on any side, and all four of those corners look lethal.

Ok, I kept digging in the library until I found it. For those of you that own a copy of Batman The Complete History by Les Daniels, check out page 24. There is the book
