SD Con GA Geekfest 2010

57 posts in this topic

The high point of my SD Con has become the gathering that RareHighGrade hosts for a number of very friendly boardies/collectors. The group wanted this to be a quality photojounal essay to convey the highlights of the events but all we have are my photos. :sorry:

Props, as always, to our gracious host and his lovely family! (worship)

:gossip: Mega-props to Sacentaur for mailing my camera back to me after I left it at his place. doh!

The gathering of the eagles. Jeff's ready, not so sure about Peter.

The pool. Next time, GAtor, read the sign first. It's NO skinny dipping!

Pizza! We used Spawn 1s as napkins. :kidaround: This year Mrs RHG and mini-RHG made an appearance.

Cheesecake! :cloud9: Put down the phone, esquire, CNN can wait! :makepoint:

One of our guests brought a set of letters that will be considered for inclusion in an upcoming exhibition.

Shuster letters are much less common than Siegal letters but note the graceful penmanship.

Siegal didn't like swipes regardless of whether it his title or someone elses. Kinda hard to complain about someone swiping Kane's Batman work...

With this letter Siegal suggests DC utilize his Superboy concept.

Allentown or Church copy. Which one to keep? :juggle: Bedrock said "keep both" so that's what RHG did.

LOVE the documents and the rest of the pics. Great stuff!

I agree. I hope there's more. :wishluck:

Not unless there were some hidden cameras somewhere. (shrug)

You're welcome - really enjoyed your (and your nephew's) visit! Hope you enjoy the new acquisition. :shy:

Missed the get together for the second year in a row, but fulfilled a craving by taking a friend to Anthonys for seafood (we walked right in on a Friday night with no waiting - couldn't believe it).

Some really amazing books on display once again - maybe next year I will have something worthy to bring..... :sorry:
