Went to my local shop today to pick up a Morning Glories 2 2nd print just because I like the cover. I just couldnt do it. EVERY issue had a printing smear in the top left corner of the book. My LCS order heavy and had about 15 issues. I couldnt beleive every copy had it. I went home sad.

Okay anyone read issue 3 yet. I did last night any thoughts?

I kind of liked issue 3, but if they don't get to the point soon I'm really going to lose interest.

Issue 3 was the first book that actually has me considering reading past the first story arc and not just making a buck selling them off. We'll see though.

Just read 3 today. I am still interested in the story and plan to continue on with issue 4.

Yeah they run the risk of alienating readers like LOST did if they dont at least tie some of it up soon.

It's been going on for 3 issues only. I would say they have a little time before they have to start wrapping things up.

I liked the 1490 prologue. Tying everything up in history always interests me. And I think I know who the green eyed girl really is.

 

Didn't like that only 3 of the kids were in the book though.

How is Morning Glories selling now that issue 4 is on the horizon, anyone heard?

1-3 as sets selling at $40-50 in NM. Couple of sets I think sold for $50 in last couple of weeks. Entire sets of all copies are over $100 last I checked.

 

Seperate issues are all over the place with 1 still sells between $15-30 depending on who and what condition. 2 usually sells for $5-10. 3 is selling for at cover it isnt as hard to find I think my shop still has a few copies of 3.

 

I have sold a couple of copies off 1 & 2 off ebay to international buyers in the last 2 weeks as well.
