If they both remained the same but were both on free services there would be no contest. I'm not taking anything away from TWD though, I still love it for what it does in its own genre and in general. The main difference for me is I think TWD has room to improve. Apart from having to suffer a difficult first few episodes in season 1 GoT has reached near perfection. Even Charlie's favourite show isn't TWD, but then it isn't GoT either.
