Speaking of westerns I was looking at the new Overstreet and thier top ten western comics list and eventually John Wayne #1 will pass Gene Autry  #1,Roy Rogers #1 and Hopalong Cassidy #1 as the all-time most valuable western comic.

John Wayne continues to be an icon while sadly Autry,Roy Rogers, and Hopalong have been forgotten by time.

I assume this would exclude pre-hero GA books such as your pre-hero DC's, strip reprint books such as Famous Funnies, Popular, Super, etc., and your bland non-descript funny super hero cover books like early World's Finest, Leading, Comic Cavalcade, etc.?  hm  :tonofbricks:

I'm guessing wf and cc will see some future movement. Leading not so much

pre hero dc have a solid following...just not enough copies coming to market to test

Coca-Cola to replace Coke Zero in U.S.

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/coca-cola-to-replace-coke-zero-in-us-2017-07-26

Coca-Cola Co. is replacing Coke Zero in the U.S. with another diet-soda brand, an effort to hold on to consumers cutting back on sugary drinks.

Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, which the Atlanta company said Wednesday has been a strong seller in Europe, the Middle East and Latin America, will become available in the U.S. in August.

Although both diet sodas are sugar-free and contain the same artificial sweeteners, Coca-Cola said the Zero Sugar recipe tastes more like original Coke and looks more like it, too, with a red circle on cans and bottles in contrast with Coke Zero's black design.

The retooled name is intended to better communicate to consumers that it contains no sugar, as municipalities across the country implement taxes on sugar-sweetened beverages. Both Coke Zero and Zero Sugar are sweetened with aspartame.

In the future we can stock up on Coke Zero, and when Gator gets low on the Coke Zero we can trade him the Coke Zero for comic books.

lol

Problem is that it expires. There will be a finite supply. Argh!
