Never saw that before! What year, who published it, what's in it?

BOOT, that Archie book is a solicitation book. IT was sent to newspapers in 1959 to try and get them to put the strip in their newspaper. It has only 4 pages of strips and lists all the newspapers it was going to. I have never seen another one like it.

High Grade 1950s DC are very hard. That cover almost looks like a Johnny Quest cover and Race Bannon.

I'll second that motion. Wasn't it the #3 that was singled out in CBM as one of the toughest DC's back in the day? Incredible to see these in high grade.

Yes, very few thought to exist - though perhaps a few more lower grade copies have meanwhile turned up since the CBM article.
