What is considered High Grade?

If you can figure out how to.

No sir, I would not like to take the time to figure out why you are such a loser.

It is probably because your parents left that coat hanger mark on your forehead before you were born.

I kid, I kid. (:

But I did ask a real question that you deflected with this stuff: if there is one copy of a Golden Age book in existence, and that book is coverless, do you consider it high grade?

I would...if it was never intended to have a cover.

Let's say it was intended to have a cover.

Are you letting yourself get sucked back into this argument Richard? I remember the first time, you were left looking pretty silly.

We all look silly at some point. At least you have cute kids. I wonder how that happened? hm

Sharon already told you, my wife is hot! (You should see the boys dressed as Wolverine and The Hulk for FCBD. My 6 month old is 22 pounds!)

Actually my argument wasn't made very well, but I still stand by it. If, in the case of a specific book, all copies were damaged during printing, then regardless of it's technical CGC grade there can be high grade copies. My particular examples are Fawcett Movie Comics Man From Planet X (all copies had split spines off the press so the highest CGC grade is probably going to be a 3.0 or so) and Raw Magazine #2? (all copies had a corner torn off by the print staff and reattached to a different copy with tape so how the heck do you grade that?).

You really need to know your audience when using abortion jokes, personally I chuckled, but I can see infants being offended.

I don't understand how this is an argument. I can see arguing subjective points but this is actually objective. Rarity clearly has absolutely nothing to do with it.

If you want to waste your time, masturbate to Bea Arthur porn. (shrug)

I am looking at this from a Census standpoint, many boardies have their opinion as what is HG, but a 9.2 modern is not HG or maybe even copper age and late bronze, but if a book is hard to find in HG based on the book itself would you then adjust to what the highest grade for that book. 9.6-9.0, 9.8-9.2 or based on the number of copies exists 9.0 and above for Bronze age and older book.

I call that the old school model. zzz

I am of the opinion of new school thinking of what HG is partly because of CGC and population in the census of the books.

That's not old/new school thinking, I think that's silly school thinking. If I didn't know how smart Ketterer and Siman were, I'd be really afraid for the Philadelphia schooling system :baiting:

The answer is simple: there are no high grade copies of this book in existence.

Well once these fraudulent gas prices come down I will go next year.

Cheapest flight of $500+ from San Diego to Detroit is not helping me spend money in the Motor City.

If the highest grade of this book in existence is and will always be a 3.0, then there are no high grade copies in existence. This was what I was talking about when I said you looked silly. Please stop it, you aren't is SOT's league, as you usually say smart things.

Funny how you call me SOT, as I would rather you just call me d-bag.
