And speaking of....

I bought this book from Redbeard for a measly $4.75. Certainly no high grade, far, far from it. But after buying it I marched over and stood in the short line to have the master sign it. cloud9.gif

Criminy, we are starting to sound like stock market analysts on CNBC. Each analyst either being a bear, neutral or a bull on various items.

Hey, no problem by me, I like discussions about market conditions whether it be stocks OR comics. 893applaud-thumb.gif

Oh, and Jim, I agree about the Adams covers. At Wondercon last week I was specifically looking for Bronze Adams covers and would most certainly pay more for them than other similar but non-Adams covers. I really like those things.

Adams covers?

So now, and POV would be a good one to confirm this, you can go to a show and find low grade g and vg books marked anywhere from $75 to as high as $200 for a run of the mill book.

I'll extract a piece of what I said in the GA section: "Well, at Wondercon I was met with, literally, the most infuriating bunch of - well - drek - I have yet to encounter. The dealers are still pricing pre-code horror as if this were the early 90's. Why, in the name of Mister Mystery, would I pay $75 or $90 or $125 for a VG or VG+ (or in some cases - honest to Goshen - a Good or Good-) plain old nothing special pre-code horror book? And this was all over Wondercon. It is like the dot-com crash never existed in San Francisco and the rents are still 50% or more of what they should be! How long is it going to take these people to realize that "well, it is pre-code horror" just doesn't cut it anymore?

My only BA Charlton Horror -- if it's been posted before, please forgive me.
